Course Description
The Fair Housing course is designed for a comprehensive understanding of the Fair Housing Act. We want our members to have an industry recognized course needed to effectively serve the housing needs of all persons interested without Housing discrimination in which an individual or family is treated unequally when trying to buy, rent, lease, sell or finance a home based on certain characteristics, such as race, class, sex, religion, national origin, and familial status.
Course Objectives

- Learn the history of the Fair Housing Act.
- Learn about the classes protected by the Fair Housing Act.
- Learn about Discriminatory Housing Practices.
- Learn about the Fair Housing Act Compliance.
- Learn how to file a complaint.
- Learn about the sanctions for violators.
Requirements
To earn the Fair Housing Designation, you must:
- Complete the online instructional portion of the course
- Pass the multiple choice and true/false, questions final exam with a minimum score of 70 percent. Students will be allowed forty-five (60) minutes to complete the exam. If student does not pass the final exam within the allotted two attempts, student must re-enrol in the course.

Internet course refunds are only granted if:
- The user had not started the course; and
- No more than five calendar days have passed since the course registration.
